French animation director Charles Lefebvre is co-creator and director
of “Dragon Striker.”

Lefebvre graduated from Gobelins Paris animation school in 2008. His
long-standing passion for Japanese animation shines through in his
graduation film “After the Rain,” a homage to anime and
traditional 2D techniques.

With over 17 years of experience in the animation industry, he is a
versatile artist who has taken on numerous roles, including character
designer, storyboard artist, animator, art director and director.

He began his career as a storyboard artist and character designer for
various French studios before moving to Japan to work as an animator
for several years.

Upon his return to Paris, he joined La Chouette Co. to lead the
storyboard team for the drone-racing shonen “Droners.” He quickly
became a key player at La Chouette Co., co-directing “Imago” and
“Azuro and the Dragon Squad.”

On the creative design side, Lefebvre is responsible for the art
direction of the upcoming animated series based on the “Final
Fantasy” universe.

Lefebvre is also co-founder of Chouette Studio, La Chouette Co.’s
high-quality traditional 2D animation studio. He built the production
pipeline alongside Mariam Hachmi, bringing his expertise gained from
working in Japanese studios.
